My name is marcus and I have been running the anchoragejoop blog since its inception in 2008. I was born and raised here in Anchorage and have always had interest in topics related to urbanism and architecture. Seeing as how Anchorage is now finding itself in a unique situation in which land is now scarce, I wanted to create a sort of record in which I catalogue the gradual densification of this city, project by project. I want to note that I am not employed by a developer or real estate group, nor do I work for the Municipality of Anchorage or any government entity.
